Flowering Pots And Planters – Find a lot of pots and planters, especially if you’re adding the garden to your patio or deck. Here, you can plant anything including wildflowers, tomatoes or simply add a few flowers. Your garden will look beautiful even without the space.

Try Different Herbs – They are very attractive and edible, depending on what you choose. If you add different herbs to your garden, it will become a useful acreage, regardless of the size. Try herbs in different colors for the most appealing look.

Climbers – If you’re transforming your patio into a garden, you should consider adding climbing plants such as bougainvillea. They will wrap themselves around your wall making it magnificent and full.

Pocket Plants – Do you have an old canvas or a shoe organizer that you don’t use? Well, you can take advantage of that and add it to your garden. Place it over the wall or fence then fill each of the compartments with dirt. Plant vines or ferns to create the most enticing small garden.

Raised Beds – If you have a backyard with poor soil, you should add some raised beds for the best results. They are exceptionally good planters for your vegetables that will create the best look for your garden.

Dwarf Trees
– Add some dwarf trees that goes as high as 5ft or 10 ft. You can plant different dwarf varieties in large pots that can be repotted, moved or shaped depending on your preferences. Choose the right dwarf tree for your climate, especially one that can survive in colder areas that where you’re currently living since planters freeze much faster than the ground.

Window Box – Get a container and fill it with succulents because they don’t grow very fast. Also, they don’t crowd the rest of the plants and work perfectly in shallow containers. Make sure there’s good drainage for the best results.

Green Screen – You can add some English ivy to your chain-link fence and create the privacy you need from your neighbors. It’s also a good way to protect your backyard garden from view of the neighbors.

Cluster Containers – You can maximize the space in your small garden by adding many pots on your porch or patio. Try pots of different sizes to make it a proper cluster. You can water, replant, move or discard any plants that start wilting or dying to create room for more.

Easy Foliage – Choosing flowers works beautifully for a small garden. However, it’s prudent to add more foliage than flowers to make your garden ultra-green. It’s a low-maintenance option that will bring you the desired results effortlessly. You should go for plants without petals that add more aesthetic value to the greenery and make your garden bloom effortlessly.
